Some people can be so great when you ask about the date of manufacturing. I was so happy when they emailed me saying the carseat was being taken off ebay.

yeah there are 3 seats on ebay that i've asked that question to today, still waiting to hear back from them all but 2 definatly look like they would be expired and the 3rd just didnt look all that great either

This is the response I got from a seat that is for sale with a DOM in 1998.

"This was a second car seat so is was not used often. They still sell the identical car seat so I think the brand feels it is tried and true. I am selling it because I know there is someone out there who can't afford to pay 200 plus dollars for a new car seat...but could pay a fraction of that to still keep their child safe"
