Replace car seat after minor accident?

I have an EFTA in my mom's car and shh was rear-ended. My son wasn't in the seat at the time and the seat is FF. There was zero damage to either vehicle. There were items on the seat of the car, and they didn't fall onto the floor, just to give an idea as to how minor the bump was.

I'm trying to determine if I should replace the seat? Are there any regulations about this in Canada?

I'm not sure if this matters, but I plan on using this seat in my mom's car as RF for my daughter in a few months.

How fast were the vehicles going? Did the seatbelts lock?
