Yeah.. Not thrilled about it but I know he is okay, thanks to you all.

He is going to be 7 in 2 weeks, He is 54 lbs 47.5 inches.. ( and borderline overweight according to his dumb school assessment.. He is a string bean if you ask me.. ) but he is in the Nauti in Booster mode, and in the 3rd row drivers side, It is latched in and tethered.

I know he is safe and it is appropriate for his age and size.

I don't know how people do this at 4.

Anyway thanks to you all for helping me know what is right for my child and how to keep them as safe as I can in my car.

I now have a FT boosterer too. My
DS will not be 7 until September but he is
already over the top slots in the nautilus.
I can't latch or tether his nautilus though. He is in the 3rd row of our grand caravan and the middle is the only TT and no latch or shoulder belt in the middle.
I slowly getting used to it.

Thanks. I am not sure what I am going to do with the little guy. He is about 5 lbs from the LATCH limit in my car and in the middle row center. I would love to keep him there but I can not install with the seat belt across the path to my other son getting in.

I guess I am going to have to move him Drivers side 2nd row.

I remember reading here, I think that drivers side was statistically safer than passenger outboard? I know.. splitting hairs.. but it is me remember..:dizzy: ( I thought we had a crazy.)

I have a 2002 I wish I had a 2001 for sure now that I know it has so many tethers. I am gonna look into having some more installed. I have an almost 4yr old that I want to move to the 3rd row but not without a TT.
I don't think I want the boys right next to each other. They bother each other enough in the house. I'm not gonna confine them next to each other LOL

Making it until almost 7 is great! Yeah, I can't fathom sticking a kid in a booster at 4, but then my 5 yr old is 36#. What's crazy is the people like my SIL who stick 30# 2.5 yr olds in boosters. That's just assinine. But your son is nearly 7, not 2 or 4:)
