i'm considering this for DS1 who is 4.5

any reviews?

We purchased my two girls frontier's in January. Frontier XT's. Summer is is 5 years and 5 months old. She is 41 pounds and stands 41 inches tall, with a 13.5 inch torso. She has long legs. She fits amazingly well in the car seat. It is easy to use. I only have ever installed it with seat belt, but will be installing them with the latch during a vacation with friends. Leah is my little one. She is 3 years and 9 months old. She is small. She is 29 pounds, stands 36 inches tall, and has a 13 inch torso. They sit at the same height on there frontiers. I believe that Leah is going through a growth spurt, and probably has lost weight, since she has been ill enough to be in the hospital for 48 hours on an IV due to dehydration. Both of my girls love there seats, they both say that they are incredibly comfortable. They have used Nautilus car seats, which are for me, incredibly hard to instal. I have helped my friend instal them for her car. I have also helped put them back together, and they were a Pain in the butt to do so. My girls were going to use them til they grow out of them, but due to moving out of the country, we are getting seats meant for the states, and these seats will be left with my friend with the Nautilus car seats. We leave in December. I have pictures of my three year old in my photo album, the seat wasn't installed in the car at the time, but it was just during set up.

My 3.5 year old DD rides in one and we love it. Its easy for her to climb in and out of and she loves the cup holders. I like the easy install (I'm still doing latch) and that it doesn't give her horrible head slump like the Nauti seems to do for a lot of kids.

My only regret is that my cover is pink sky which is mesh.....I wish Livia had been out when we were buying :thumbsdown:
