When I asked I was told they were boxes damaged in shipping and thats why they couldn't sell at full price. I asked if they were open box and was told no. I asked if they had be sent to someone else and was told that's confidential but that he was pretty sure they had come directly from Skjp.

Darn, my seats will be here on Sat. We are leaving to go camping tomorrow morning and won't be back till Sunday night. I was also hoping they wouldn't come until dh was at work.:whistling: Now we'll come home and they'll be there sitting on the porch.
LOL! I know the feeling! Surprisingly dh is ok with me buying another radian, I was shocked he wasn't mad at me. I'm selling my RA50 once the new seat comes though, kinda makes me sad, but I'd prefer another radian so it has to go. I wish my new radian would be here on Saturday, but I just ordered today and I'm all the way across the country.
Has Gavin been in a radian before? Does he have a lot more rfing room than in the MA?
ETA, do you have a neighbor who could pick up your seats and take them inside their house for you until you go get them?

I wouldn't be comfy with the package sitting outside for days. Why not ask a neighbor to take your package for you?

I tried Gavin out in one last week at BRU (there's a thread around here some where with pics) and he had tons of room left in it. It's still not my fav seat but at that price I couldn't pass it up.
We live out in the country so our neighbors are pretty much spread out. The two closest to us on either side are both super nice single older men, but they both happen to be drunks (yeah, nice, right
) and I wouldn't trust either one of them to remember where they put the seats after they got them off my porch. The other neighbors I don't really know because we are so far apart. I did try the option to have Fedex hold them for me but it said that option was not available too me.
I already put a note on the front door for Fedex telling them to put the packages on the back porch (which is covered and out of site). If they deliver on Sat. and we are home Sun. night I think they'll be ok.You $%^%* people. I don't need another seat. But no, I had to go and facebook friend some of you people and you just had to post about theses deals. I usually agonize about decisions, but I only lingered a second. And now I have a shadow monterey in the mail to arrive Sat.
Ds has tried one before plus the pilot. I have a Roosevelt on order if the darn durable goods people can figure out WTH they are doing. We like to have three seats. Primary for me, occasional for my dad, and emergency with my mom. Well mom's is outgrown (radian 65). Dad's is outgrown as a harness and ds hates it now (nauty). I have two huskys that re about to expire in July. I added a rstv as a spare/travel, but dad has claimed it and loves it. Then I added a lizard because ds just loves the pattern, but we both hate the turbo. I have been using it for his friends and with my mom once, but ds has almost outgrown it. So I need this seat right?! Now to convince myself not to get one for mom's car, lol.
Of course ds reminded me today why we have the roosevelt ordered. He was having an "off" day and I look back and he is dangling by the harness. He can handle a booster for brief trips, but not long term. Hopefully it will have a good dom and he will get a lot of use out of it as he grows.
