How does this fit look (5 1/2 YO in PKWY)

DD doesn't want to go back in the radian. DH doesn't want to reinstall the Radian and my back is really bad at the moment, so I'm considering letting her stay in a booster for the time being. (until my back is better enough for me to install it again)

How does the fit look. After a week of riding in it, she's not leaning out of position at all, and she even fell asleep in it and was fine yesterday. Would you be comfortable with her in it full-time if this was your kid?

I think the fit looks good but you need to put the shoulder portion of the seat belt under the arm rest. And I would try moving the headrest up a notch :)

The belt looks good, except that the shoulderbelt should go under the arm rest on the buckle side.

Thank you, I noticed that as soon as I took the picture and had her fix it, but thank you for the reminder.

Would you be comfortable with her in it as a full time seat? I didn't move her bother out of the radian until he was almost 7, but she's a lot more mature than he is.:p

no, I haven't updated. She was 41.5 on the scale in her clothing this morning :)

Thank you. I felt a little silly pointing it out, but you never know. Thanks for the pics; your DD is only slightly bigger/older than mine and I am hoping to use a Parkway for her whenever she finally gets to 40 lbs or outgrows her Radian.

I'd also have her take the stuffed animal out of the lap belt portion ;)

Otherwise, she looks good! Is there a reason you don't use the SG clip?

:p I told her Boots didn't need to be buckled in LOL!

She used the SG for the longer trips, but we ran to Wal-Mart for Groceries, and she didn't buckle it up.

I'm considering the PKWY SGL.. but have been noticing lots of pics without the clip being used. Just been curious. Thanks for sharing!

It doesn't seem to affect how it fits at all, and it's just ANOTHER step, which a 5 (or 7 or 9 year old) may not remember...I did have her use it when we traveled 2 hours, but for short trips, I don't worry about it.

Crazy phantom seat. I swear I see it on some kids and just cringe at the not-awesome fit, and then I see it on some kids and love it with the passion I've always felt for Britax booster fit. I'm just going to have to buy one, I guess (dd wants to sit in a booster all the time, too, but I'm holding out a little longer, I have such a good situation with her harnessed ones right now...)

I thought the SG clip was required on the Parkway? Not trying to jump on you OP, just wondering if someone can clarify the rules for me? :)

Nevermind I read the quick reference thread where it says Britax strongly suggests but doesn't require it. I thought I saw in the carseatblog.com review of it that it was required, I must've read wrong!

When the seat was first out, or a prototype, it was required. They changed their stance within a couple of months.

I'm curious about this. Will you please explain? Thanks!

Because it would put the shoulder belt up a bit higher on the shoulder, rather than push it out toward the arm.

she's sitting a bit sideways in it... probably to make room for her stuffed toy... remove the stuffed toy, make her sit all the way back completely facing front, and tuck the shoulderbelt under the armrest and take a fresh pic, please.

I think she looks very comfortable and I'd be comfortable with that fit. I actually came here to ask a similar question about the Frontier (off to go and post that one).
