Question Quick LATCH Manual 2011 Look Up Please

Hi all,

Quick Question:

Please consult your LATCH Manual and advise!! Thanks!

2009 Dodge Grand Caravan: Does not have captain chairs in second row. No owners manual available.

1. Where are the top tether positions in this vehicle in the third row? Are they really burried into the bite of the seat back and NOT visible? That's the only location I can seem to find.

2. Lastly, where are all the LATCH (UAS) positions in this van?

(Van is not with me; it's a question for a foster family I work with)

P.S. I'm in Canada and top tether is mandatory.

Thanks!

Does it have stow n go seating or not?

If yes, it has a top tether in the center in the third row on the lower back of the seat.

If no, it has a full set of UAS in the center of the third row.

It has a 2nd row bench? Or they just have the captain chairs stowed into the floor?

The 2008-2010 Grand Caravan/Town&Country have 1 set of LATCH/UAS offset toward the driver in the 3rd row. The TT can be used with the LATCH lower anchors OR the middle 3rd row seatbelt position. The top tether bar is located almost all the way down the back of the seat by the grocery bag hooks. Let me see if I have a pic. :)

Here you go. It is between the 3rd and 4th grocery loops...to the right of the 2 black straps

Sorry I couldn't add the pic to that post from my phone.

ETA. MY VAN HAS A RETROFITTED TT DRIVER SIDE. MOST VANS DO NOT LOOK LIKE THIS. THEY JUST HAVE THE CENTER TT LOCATION. This was the only pic I had that I could access from my phone though.

You CANNOT TT where my Radian is without the dealer retrofit.

Here is the lower anchors. They are in the cener of driver side and center seat position. Mine are still covered in the factory styrofoam as they are never used. Hope this helps. Sorry for the multiple posts, but on my phone and it isn't cooperating with me today

Yes, it has a second row bench - in use with two rf infants.

AOE is currently ff in the driver side position of third row. Not sure if it is a seat belt or UAS install there. Regardless, are trying to locate the TT.

Thanks jourdysmom for the helpful pics.

ETA I have sent the foster family this link so they may be along shortly to see this post and/or add their info.

ETA If I am getting this (hard to visualize without the van in front of me); the best (and only legal solution - for Canada) for the FF install in the third row is going to be UAS/LATCH with TT in the CENTRE (or seatbelt with TT in CENTRE!)
