I just got a box of 50 USAA "Installing Child Safety Seats" brochures. Now I'll have something to leave on a car, or hand out to parents that need one!!!

Or secretly tuck in the diaper bag of parents at my work whose bucket babies are always improperly restrained...

You should! They're free!!! :D

If my work will let me, I'm going to leave a little stack in the lobby area of the child center. Maybe a parent or two will pick one up.

I leave them on the nurse's desk at work. I add inside a erf brochure and a winter coat article, and that brief AAP statement that came out last year - I think it was last year.

I should check with our Pedi's office if it would be ok to leave some there. The Pedi I go to is awesome, but in 19 months she has never mentioned car seat usage  I had to take DD there this week and when they put her on the scale she was 20lbs 1 oz ( with clothes on and a full belly) so I said (in front of the DR, to see if she would say something) " Oh baby, now technically we could turn your car seat FF!". Not a peep from the DR. So I said "But we know that's not gonna happen until you are at least 3!" So the DR says " Well, I am glad someone other than me understands that the big car seats can RF. Everyone that comes here insists they can't"m which makes me think that unless the patients there know any better, they are all turning the kids at 1.
