ProSport Bruised DS's Back!!!

To say that I am upset is an understatement. He really wanted to bring the ProSport on our vacation from KY to FL. A few hours in the journey he was complaining about his back. We thought he needed a footrest and kept going. Finally he got the point where he was crying about how bad it hurt. Where the beltpath is bruised all across his back. I knew that it was there, but I didn't know it stuck out that far! I am so upset. I tried putting it in with the seatbelt and LATCH both as well as in the recline mode and without. With the seatbelt it hits right on the harness straps like I've read. How did you guys fix it? Either way it is going to dig into his back. I feel like I can only use it as a booster...

Recaro has a foam wedge and pretty sure it goes between the belt path and the back. I dunno, though since it didn't come with any instructions.

I'm guessing it was created to solve this issue... which probably hadn't come up in design

however, I would certainly (when you call and speak with Gayle, their customer service person) mention that they should...

I need 2 of these, too.

Crash dummies just can't replicate real kids! Crash dummies don't let you know their backs hurt.

I have great seatbelt installs but it does make for an awkward place with the seatbelt and the child's back.
