I email the company in March of 2010 after purchasing 4 on these. Here is there response to using the latch in booster mode
"Thank you for contacting Graco. Graco allows the use of the LATCH attachment for the Nautilus Car Seat in Belt Positioning mode. In this application, the LATCH system allows the consumer to secure the booster seat to the vehicle while securing their child with the vehicle lap/shoulder belt. Since the LATCH system only secures the booster seat to the vehicle in this application, it may be used regardless of the weight of the child (up to the maximum seat weight rating). The consumer should verify the following before using the LATCH system to attach their booster seat:
• The LATCH does not interfere with other vehicle belt connectors.
• The vehicle lap/shoulder belt and LATCH anchorages align side-to-side."
