Pink Hannah color for boy? Convince me

Someone tell me the Hannah color for Recaro can be used for a boy.
I looked at it today, and with all the brown (and the fact the pink looks kind of red), I THINK it could be OK.

I think I just decided I want to keep 2 of these for the spare car, and they'll match. :) Harness to Booster version. The 3 and 4-year-olds fit fine. The oldest has perhaps 2 years in this seat harnessed. Good enough for me. We can talk Frontier in the future.

By the time my kids need the harness height of the Frontier85 something better or updated will come along anyway. So I guess I just chose the Prosport over the Frontier for now.

BTW, at what age/height/torso would your kid NOT fit in the Prosport harnessed? Just in your experience...

What does your boy think? At 3 or 4, mine definitely had an opinion on what he'd ride in. If he's ok with it, I don't see why you shouldn't use it for a boy.

He does not care. :) He doesn't care what he rides in.

We have 3 boys so it's going to be a boy seat most of its life, though.

well, if you don't want to use that cover for a boy, you could try to trade covers with someone on swap.

Yes, I did try to do that but no takers at this point. And the seat did not sell and now I'm really liking the seat. So I think it'll work out, and I'll open the second one tongiht!

Tonight I get to install them after the kids go to bed. And husband too. You are installing another carseat? he'd ask.

But these leave plenty of grow room. They will work well for us!

I just asked my 17yr old what color the Hannah seat was and he told me it is more red then pink and I agree with him:)
I would really have no issues using it with my 4yr old as long as he feels comfy with it. Plus- who sees it anyway???

I think it's fairly girlie. My DD, who has pink and princesses running through her veins instead of blood, LOVES it.

But, who cares?

If your DS doesn't care, then go with it. I would. At the end of the day, it's there to protect a life, not measure testosterone.

My son has a pink Monterey...and there's no arguing that it looks "sort of red".. It's PINK. If you allow your child to make a decision about what they do and don't like, I think it's all good. Pink, red, purple, black and grey striped with skulls (à la Clek).. :) The colour is fairly accurate in photos, right? Sooo...

If you like it and your son likes it I'd use it. My babysitting boys ride in a pink vivo. None of us likes it but it was the color big lots had on sale and I needed one suddenly so pink it is. The boys are still safe and in the end that's what matters most.

Its definitely girly in the pink sense, but if your DS doesn't care I don't see anything wrong with it. It is pretty enough that I wish my DD was smaller so I could have an excuse to get one.:D
