Onyx Frontier85 cover OK?

Is there any problem with the Onyx Frontier85 cover?

I have no idea what it's like up close. I heard about toxins with this fabric, potentially.

I want something that won't show dirt. Is it hot? Not durable? Ugly?
Or will it be OK for years?

IME, it is one of the most durable, easiest to clean and least likely to show dirt cover that Britax makes. If you don't have dark tinted windows, it is hot just by virtue of being black but cools off the fastest / best because the material is slick.
My DS turns into a wet mess with plush covers.

I have heard read about the toxins too but consider the amount of and length of time exposed to them, to be insignificant enough that I don't consider it to be an issue.
I might have a slightly different opinion regarding a newborn during the summer. But just slightly.

Thanks. That's my cover, then. It was on sale.
For a 5-year-old in the spare car, sounds good.
By the time the newborn uses it we'll all have spaceships anyway!

I think you'll be happy with it. I have an Onyx Regent & Boulevard. The Regent had been in use for over 2yrs & shows no signs of wear.
