Two random Evenflo Questions that came up today:
1. Someone asked me about the Generations 65 seat, and honestly I had no idea it's a 65# seat now, didn't it used to be 40? Just curious how people feel about it, since the Maestro is still recommended the most around here for a budget combo seat. How do they compare?
2. A friend just moved her 1 year old RF into an Evenflo Momentum, and asked me to take a look at it today. It's the first time I've encountered Sure Latch and I didn't really get it. It's kinda like a locking seat belt retractor, right? The seat was a little looser than I would've liked, but with just pushing down on the seat, nothing happened with the latch straps, I tried to kinda force the strap into them and got it to go a few more clicks but nothing very significant. I only looked at it for a minute or two though, it was one of those "hey can you look at my car seat?" situations where we were leaving and my 2 year old was cranky and needed lunch/nap so it wasn't a proper check by any means where I'd do some more research and read the manual, etc. I'm curious to hear some more info about how best to use it though.
