This is a pic of me waiting for my ride in Germany in 1994. I was about 8 years old and had to use a booster still (also had to use one when I went at age 10 due to height).

Go ahead and laugh, this was my awkward stage :ROTFLMAO:

There are no arm rests or belt guides on these, and this one was wiiiide!! I recall it being super light and made entirely of foam (eps probably)

HahAha. It was the start of my awkward stage. If you need proof I will take a pic of me wearing full body hot pink spandex taken the same month.

It only got worse as I got into my emo, huge baggy clothes, short spiky hair, and black eyeliner stage.

And I'm still waiting for it to pass.... I am still totally awkward.

We are all awkward, some just hide it better than others.

I am digging the fabulous 90's print.

You look adorable. I feel so old.

Where in Germany were you? In 1994, dh & I had been married for 2 years and mama military had moved us from Bitburg, Germany to middle of nowhere New Mexico.

BTW -- You'd still be required to use a booster no matter your fit at age 8. Law requires it to age 12. IIRC, 1992 or 1993 was when the law went into effect because I had to 'advise' several troops on the matter. I got out in mid 1993, so it had been enacted by 94. :D
