Recaro ProBooster vs. Vivo

I am currently turning my black car into a blacked out Recaro dream machine. I have a midnight ProSport for my 4 year old. A midnight ProRide arriving tomorrow for my baby. And now just for the sake of everything matching I want to get my 6 year old a Recaro in midnight also.

So the Vivo looks better for him but doesn't come in all black, either red and black or tan and black. The ProBooster does comes in all black like I want, BUT it looks like it might be too restrictive for a large 6 year old? How does this booster work for bigger kids? Is there any pro/cons on the Vivo vs. ProSport that I should know of? Right now I am leaning towards ordering the ProSport since it will go with my "theme" but I want to make sure he won't feel cramped. If you have any real life pictures you can share that would be awesome!

Also while on the Recaro subject. I *thought* you could use a rf'ing tether with their seats...but after reading the manual online for the ProRide I didn't see that in there. Has Recaro ever done a rf tether or am I crazy for thinking you could? :D

Recaro had said you could rf tether before the seats were released, but changed their minds, no rf tethering. I have a pro booster for my dd, love it, in the third row of my Yukon, there are pics on Facebook in my car seats album if you want to go look. Dd is 49", 50#s...or thereabouts:)

The pro booster has more leg support than the vivo, my 9 yo likes it too.

I currently have a vivo and a probooster and the probooster fits my average sized 7 yr old with room to grow better than the Vivo. The vivo fits really well now but I can see him fitting in the probooster a lot longer since it is taller and the shoulder area gets wider as they get taller. The only issue I can find with it is that it might be tippy depending on your car. I tried my 5 yr old in both of them so that he can start booster training on short rides and I prefer the fit of the Vivo on him, but he is smaller, narrower, and less mature(more likely to wiggle) so he needs the extra support of the vivo. He had too much wiggle room in the probooster even though the belt fit was good.

Vivo = no leg support. We love ours for booster training and spare seat, but I wouldn't purchase one for a six year old for regular use.
