CA owners (cleaning the cover?)

I've washed my daughter's cover on her CA before. No problem. But I noticed today that the cover for the headrest area is dirty. I tried spot cleaning but the edges are dirty. :/

Is there any way I can get it off and hand wash it like I do the cover? Or do I have to fight with it and spot clean it without taking it off?

The cover on the headrest does not come off. You will need to continue spot cleaning!

Um, technically, Dorel says it doesn't come off, but I can assure you that it does. :duck: There's elastic straps that are quite snug behind the hard plastic "Air Protect" pieces on the back of the wings. You can carefully pull the elastic out and pull the cover off. I haven't put the cover back on yet though, so I have no idea how easily it does or does not go back on the seat.
