the cover is not as blue as the online photos show. in person its more of a teal color.

the cover is super plush velvet down the center with micro suede on the sides. it has graco pedic foam so combined with the plush cover its going to be a very comfortable ride! for some climates it will probably be too warm but should be just about perfect for the fall/winter/spring in seattle :D

i love all the black including the plastic

the installed photos show it installed in a '11 scion xb

showing the design in the canopy

front seat is one click away from being all the way back and theres still space between the two seats leaving plenty of room for the front passenger.

I installed this exact seat a few weeks ago. I love the cover and it looks great with the black plastic.

OK, so it fits the exact same height as the Chaperone? 32 inches? Just a bigger weight.

What is the top harness height? My real question is would it fit longer than the Britax Chaperone (by harness height)?

My Chaperone MUST get me through winter or I'll go crazy with snow and a baby in a convertible. :) But it probably would not be worth it to get a seat that would give me a few more months. Then again, can you put a price on easily transporting baby and clicking him into a stroller through winter?

Harness height doesn't matter at all on rear facing seats, since the harness must always be at or below the shoulders. What matters is shell height.

what pixels said......

i believe the SR35 has an inch of more shell height over the chaperone which would give you another inch of growing room before the 1" rule is reached.
the Safety1st OnBoard has another inch above the SR 35... giving you 2 more inches than the chaperone.

the height limit listed for the SR 35 is 32" but its not what you want to go by... its how much shell height is above the top of the babies head

Ohhhh it's pretty!!!! *adds to my list* we're going to start TTC at the end of the summer and we gave away DS#1's Chaperone so we'll definitely need a new infant seat!
