So DS2 has not been any where in several days so I never noticed his new seat is wet. I noticed yesterday that my van stinks so I figaured the kids must have spilled something and so today I go out to give it a real good cleaning (as apposed to just picking up) and when I opened the door the smell could have nocked me out, so the first thing I do is take out the car seats. well I found the smell. some one must have spilled orange juice in DS's seat and the cover, harness and the webbing for the buckle is all wet with it. I do not know how to clean this.

So please tell me how to clean it and will the acid in the juice harm the integrity of the webbing?

That's pretty disgusting! Yuck! I'd call the manufacturer and see what they say.

Yes it is. But once I took that seat out the smell was gone so i dont think it got any place els.

I guess I will use a different seat until Tuesday then call them, if anything maybe I would just need to replace the harness.

This sucks!

Marshall spilled (dumped) pineapple juice on himself/harness a couple of weeks ago....I ordered new straps, I cannot deal with smells right now. I called Sunshine kids and they suggested the same thing, since there is really no way to totally wash the harness.
