Is there any concern about cloth diapers compressing in an accident?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I noticed that when DD wears a disposable (which isn't often) that I have to tighten her harness a bit. (Maybe about an inch?)

It got me thinking. Is the cloth diaper itself at any risk of compression in an accident that could potentially eject my baby?

Not stupid!

We use cloth too and there's definitely a difference with harness tightness when he's in a sposie. It's not enough to eject your baby and while I don't know for certain, cloth diapers are pretty solid AND it's on babies bum not chest area so even the small amount of compression that may happen would not be enough to cause a problem :)

Ditto Brealin ... just to ease my mind I make sure to pull the straps at the hips tight before yanking on the tail to tighten.

I've thought about this a lot. In addition to what the pap have said I think where the diaper is has something to do with it. It seems likely that in the event of crash that most of the force would be on the upper part of the harness. This would mean there would not be a lot of force on the diaper that would cause it to compress. This is just my own pondering though.
