We r looking at getting a new car and need something bigger as kiddos are one and two so need room for carseats and lots of camping gear. Want 3 row seats good gas mileage and don't want to spend much as car payments make me sick lol. So looking to spend no more then 15k Max...but would feel better staying around 13.
Thoughts?

Easy question, minivan. To get more cargo room, you'd have to go up to a Suburban. That's $40K starting when new. It's also like a third bigger than a minivan too so it's not exactly easy to park or drive in most areas.

Plus, if you plan on using the 3rd row, and even with the 2nd row, the sliding door on a minivan just makes life a WHOLE lot easier.

They've all been pretty good for a while. If you can, Honda and Toyota make the best minivans. At $15K, if you can't find a decent Japanese one, I'd look into a Dodge Caravan/Chrysler T&C or a Ford Windstar. You generally want to avoid the GM vans.

For 15 you can easily get a 2006 or newer Odyssey, if you so desire, in very good condition. :) Around here Siennas are a leetle pricier.

The only reason I was 2nd guessing a van is I live in the MW and DEEP in the counrty...so lets just say bad rd for half the year is what we have to deal with.

I had a great deal slip through my fingers yesterday :(. 07 Town and Country 34k miles...auto hatch/sliding doors/local trade it $12,900 and they said they could do better then that for me (I am working with a sales rep who my boss buys all his company cars from)...as we were talking another rep sold the van :(...Im sooo bummed
