So, this isn't car seat related, but I figured this was the best place to ask. I have an '07 Camry, with 3 shoulder belts and adjustable headrests in back. We took a trip recently with 5 adults. When there's only 2 in back outboard, the shoulder belts fit perfectly. However, with 3, the outboard adults are pushed closer to the doors, which causes the shoulder belts to dig into their necks. We reclined the outboard seats, and it helped a little, but it was still very uncomfortable. Is there anything we can safely do to help? We can't avoid driving like this (it's only 2-3 weeks a year) since all 3 of our vehicles are 5 staters, and mine is the only one with 3 shoulder belts and adjustable headrests. Are those fabric adjusters that are sold for kids safe for adults? I assume not, just thought I'd ask. Thanks everyone!
