Flying alone with 2 kids

In July I am flying across the country with my 2 littles. We have flown before, but I have never gone alone with both of them. I was thinking of taking our XTSL for DD and CCO for DS. I have a little luggage cart to bungee them onto, and we will bring 1 carry on with everything for the day. Are there any other seats I should consider bringing for DD instead of the XTSL? I have a bunch of other seats, but the RN seems like the best idea for travel.
We have a layover each way and I am trying to decide if I should bring our BJCM. I don't want to take anything I don't have to. I will bring my Ergo or Beco for DS but wonder if the stroller would come in handy.
Any advice is appreciated. I am going thru old travel threads too.

Is your DD good about walking? Does she wander? I like strollers in the airport - especially when I am on my own - because you can hang your bags etc on them for help carrying everything. Are you able to push the stoller and pull the luggage cart though? Do you have a double stroller? I would probably use a double stroller, pile the carseats in one seat, DD in the other and use the carrier for DS (or DS in the stoller and let DD walk).

Do you have a lighter seat than the Radian for DD?

Hmm, any chance you can do with just a large diaper bag or backpack, get a Flash for the CCO and put any small toys/sippy cups in there, and pull your daughter in the Radian attached to the luggage cart?

I only plan to have one carry on, and
maybe' a small backpack for DD to carry. My DD does walk just fine, and I wouldn't be concerned about her running off. Although, if she does walk I would probably get one of those child leash things for peace of mind. I don't have a double stroller anymore, and don't really want to spend the $$ on one.

I have a bunch of different seats that DD could ride in. Even though the RN is heavy, it is a lot less bulky than the GN, FR85, TF, MA, and MR I have. I've got carry straps for the RN too.

I think it would be easy to get everything into 1 carry-on. At least that's my goal. A water bottle for each of us, extra pacifier, change of clothes for both, shirt for me. Coloring books, Leapster, a few toys, diapers and wipes, and a few snacks. Do you think pushing the CCO and pulling the RN would be awkward? I might have to get a Flash and practice. At least that way I would have the option of restraining DD if needed.
