Question How long would he have left in the my ride?

DS has a torso height of 14.5. He will be 4 in July and weighs 30lbs. He is in an Eddie Bauer 3-1 FF right now. I am getting tired of the EB and want something different.
Would the my ride be worth buying or should I just get him a nautilus?

Thanks. I was thinking about turning him back rfing for a little bit but he is almost 4 so I think I'm fine with him being FF.
Is the frontier worth the extra money?

If you want to rf again, I would look at the safety1st complete air. The shell is really tall. It also sits low so easier to get into especially when you turn ff.

If you are staying ff, look at both the nautilus and frontier85. Also the Graco Argo and First Years combos are coming out soon.

The Argo is an upgrade from the nautilus. You won't have to rethread the harness.

We went with the frontier85 over the nautilus because it is a taller booster. Our older kids outgrew the turbos with backs at 7y, so I wanted taller boosters for our under ones. We also got ours for $199.

Try out both. See which one you like better and which fits better in your car.

With that torso you will probably be on the second of four slots... so you will have eons of space in the nautilus.

My kid has a 15-17" torso (he's a squirm!) and is just out of the MyRide RF. I don't think you'd get a lot of time out of it RF and people don't like it FF generally, but I haven't tried myself.

I would not buy a RFing seat for a child that age and size.

If you're interested in RFing, he would probably have the same or more height room in the Alpha Omega (or clone) than he would in the MyRide. Turn him around, let him max it out, and then buy a Nautilus. :twocents:

Ya I think I might just go for the nautilus or even wait until the new Argos comes out. I can get him a new seat for his birthday in July :)
Thanks everyone!
