Can someone post a pic of the bottom of the Maestro base, please? I need something w a flat base, and I'd rather not drive an hr+ to see one in-store if its not what I need. TIA

If you still have it handy, can you also take one of the base from the side?

Here you go. Please note that it is missing the cup holders. We took them off to see how difficult it was (in case we need to pop them off to go through the airport security scanner).

Can you measure the distance from the back of the seat to where that cutout ends (toward the front) to make sure that she has enough depth to her seat? That would be awesome!

That's exactly why I needed a side view- to see how deep that cutout is. :) You're right, though, that a measurement would be even better. Thank you for mentioning it!

When I took my Maestro on the plane they just wander the seat since it did not fit through the scanner. No biggie

The whole base, from the very back to the very front is about 16". There is a slight curve at the front, so that where the harness adjuster is a full 16" deep, and where the leg type parts that have the cut outs are located is about 15 3/4".

From the very back, to the start of the cut out is about 3".

The cut out itself is around 7".

From the very back, to the end of the cut out is about 9 3/4" - 10".

The front bit, on the front side of the cut out, is about 6".

:)
