Oldest RFer on here (current or past)?

Who on here has made it the longest?

I have one of those (and DD is looking like another maybe even smaller) kids that still has loads of room in seats like the Radian or CA. He's 3.5, about 27# and not sure of his height but he's not quite to the 4th harness slot up in the XTSL. He still fits RF in seats like the MA but with a little less room.
I could RF him for a long time yet if we so chose. I've actually tried to FF him just playing around and he freaked out about it (kid is kinda weird). I'm in no hurry to FF him other than I'd love to play with FF seats but lots of time for that yet. I think I could could RF him for at least another 2 years. He's been on the 3rd slots in the XTSL for a year and a half now so it's not like he grows fast. I know at some point we'll have to make the choice to FF him, I honestly don't think he'll outgrow the Radian anytime soon.

So just wondering how old the oldest RFer on here was.:)

Madeline RF until 5.5 years old, when she outgrew the Radian by height (right under the 40 lbs limit of her XT).

The ones that come to mind is Bram and KQ girls.

I currently have one at 5y2m, she is a peanut and could easily go several more years. It's her choice; she likes the MR and insofar as she knows it only RFs. Oldest I've ever had was 6y4m (due to a logistical/3 across issue. He was displeased but there just wasn't an alternative.)

When I think oldest RFer I always think of Bram too :) My older 2 will be lucky to make it to 4 (they are big kids and importing isn't an option) but T3 is teeny so who knows...

Yeah, I'm about to re-rearface my 7 year old, and she'll probably fit until 8 or maybe even 9. But I don't know if that counts since she'll be in a Swedish seat. ;) (Just waiting on a little more funding...) (The re-rearfacing of the 5 and 7 year olds is by their repeated request.)

My son was re rearfaced twice... I FF him young (1-2yrs) because I didn't know about ERF. Then RF till 3ish. At around 5 we reRF him again because we got RN XTSL's and since his little brother was RF he wanted to so we let him. He RF till 6ish when he outgrowing the seat by height and was close to weight. Plus a little boy I knew needed to RF due to medical condition so we loaned our seat out for awhile.

My DS was livid when I FF him again. He kept complaining how uncomfortable he was FF and how he KNEW it was safer to RF than FF...hehe

If I could afford to get him in a Swedish seat I would. I've really considered trading off / selling extra seats for other cars just to do it. Someone very close to us has mini premonitions (sp?) and she keeps telling me to drive safe with him:eek:, (never a concern about the younger ones). She also spends more time with him then the past. As long as I remember she has foreseen some bad stuff happen to people very close to her along with joyous times. Anyways kind of scary! FYI I'm not a superstitious type of person normally. Things happen, most of which is not preventable, but this throws me for a loop from time to time

All in all though if I got my hands on a Swedish seat I'm sure I'd end up passing to a family I know that needs it for medical reasons as soon as he grew out of the XTSL.
