Which seat in which vehicle?

My ILs will be baby sitting DD for a few days while I am out of town. DH also needs a seat in his truck during that time. The seats I have available are RN XTSL, Shuttle 33, and Avenue. The vehicles are early to mid 90s Ford Escort and a 2003 single cab Chevy Silverado. The passenger air bag turns off with a key in the truck. It is safe to install a RF seat there, correct?

Which seat would you put in each vehicle? ILs aren't super car seat savvy, so I was leaning towards the RN if it installs well, since it doesn't have a puzzle buckle or continuous harness. I was thinking Shuttle 33 for DH's truck, for the antirebound bar. So, what would you do?

If the escort doesn't have locking seat belts, you'll need to use a locking clip. That might be impossible with the radian.

I think that if the Radian installs well in the middle of the Escort with the lap belt then that would be best for the grandparents.

I would also want the Shuttle 33 in the truck because of the anti-rebound bar. As long as the airbag has a keyed shut off (which is shut off) then it is safe to have a rear facer there.

It sounds like you have this well planned. I will cross my fingers for a good Radian install so things go as planned.

Thanks! I'm going to test install this weekend and am leaving Monday. Now I just have to deal with the idea that they might take her out driving, and I won't be there to buckle her in.
