I'm new to posting here but have been lurking for a while.
We currently have 2 boys and now are expecting an "oops"
baby in November. We would prefer not to have to buy new cars straight away (although likely will eventually...see my other post).
My 2 DS's are small for their age. Here are all the vital stats:
DS#1 5 years old, 38 inches, 32 lbs
DS#2 2.5 years old, 30 inches, 25 lbs
2001 VW Passat
Each child is in outside position in a FF Britax Roundabout
1996 Subaru Impreza
DS#1 Evenflo Chase 5 pt
DS#2 Triumph (FF)
We plan on getting a "bucket" for the baby. We used to have a Graco Snugride, but got rid of it when we "thought"t here were not going to be any more babies.
So I'm thinking of getting at least 1 Radian for the Passat, but I'm thinking I'm going to need at least 2 of them for the Passat as the RA are so wide. I'd put DS#1 in the middle and baby and DS#2 on the outside. Any ideas with what we have? I'm also a bit worried about the Radians, as I read somewhere that they have a deep seat. I think my small kids might be kind of uncomfortable with their legs suck straight out.
For the Impreza, it just might not work. Has anyone gotten 3 across in an Impreza? I'd prefer not to have to buy 4 (2 for each car) Radians, although it would still be cheaper than a new car
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.
