RFIng True Fit Premiere in 06 Honda Pilot....does this not work?

Does anyone have this seat in their Pilot (model years 2003 to 2008), and is above average height (I am 5'6")? (FWIW, my DH is 6' tall and we both drive the car equally so we can't have the seat any further up than it already is).

I tried it in my car today and even with the least amount of recline I couldn't get it to fit rear facing behind the drivers seat. We have a Britax Frontier 80 in the passenger side so I don't think it will fit in the middle seat. I had the seat pretty far back, but in order for the seat to fit I had to have the seat really far up and it was very uncomfortable. Not sure if that is the nature of the beast of the seat or it was the not so helpful sales associate (from the non chain baby store near me) who helped me take it out to my car and put it in. I didn't have my camera with me so I couldn't take any photos.

It's not the end of the world as the Britax Boulevard 70 fit in their fine (so the Roundabout, and Marathon will also fit fine with no issues) so I'll most likely end up getting that, but I really liked the plushness of the True Fit and the fact that the bottom seemed to be a bit wider than the Britax.

Is your second row all the way back? How reclined would you say the True Fit seatback was?

I've never tried it but can't imagine it would be a problem, so trying to troubleshoot. Or, because of how the bench is split, I think it *would* for in the center next to whatever on the pass side.

I don't know how much different the recline is but i have a regular in my 06 pilot and my DH is 6ft and can sit in front of it with no issue.
