how long to dry?

So, nephew rode in ds1's booster (yes, the 4 year old one). He had a bit of an issue....and I have to wash the seat. It's in the wash now, but it says to drip dry. How long does that generally take? lol

DS1 does have another booster, so we're not SOL (and nephew fits into ds2's FPSVD).

Lay it on a towel and roll up the towel with the cover in it, nice and tight. This helps squeeze out any excess water. I also have done an extra spin cycle. FWIW, I've also just done the air-dry/fluff cycle in the dryer w/my covers, along with a dry hand towel (it helps it dry faster). HTH and I hope there are no more "incidents."

Hang it out in the garage if you are in a warm climate area. It only takes ours a 3-4hrs to dry completly if I hang it in the garage. But, I must say I live in HOT Texas.

I can dry a cover in the sunshine in one day. But I have also put them in low-heat in the dryer and the cover has suffered no ill effects. Not that I would EVER suggest doing something against the manual
