Ford F150 Help

Hi I have a 2005 Ford F150 XTR and am in need of a car seat that will allow me to ERF. I have a Alpha Omega Elite already and would like to match the weight/height limits. Does anyone have any suggestions on a seat (I don't want to spend a lot of money because our little guy won't be in it very often, more a back-up).

How big is the child? and how old? that will help the techs give you suggestions on which seat would work best for your child!

Hi! Welcome! We had an F-150 (1998) that we sold in 2006. I think you'd do fine with a 40lb Scenera unless your child is very big. The new 40lb RF Sceneras allow you to rear-face to the top of the shell, and it can install very upright.

Give us his stats, including torso height (bum to shoulders while seated on the floor). Unless you're talking about an infant -- kinda hard to get torso height on an infant

. Oh, and if you are talking about an infant, check that the harness straps of the Alpha Omega are coming out at or below his shoulders. Those seats have high bottom harness slots.

I much prefer a seat that can be tethered RFg for trucks. I'd buy a Britax MA or Blvd, use it RFg and tethered until he outgrows the weight limit for RFg, then I'd move your other seat to the truck, use it RFg and use the Britax FFg in your primary vehicle.
