The weather is nasty today, rainy and windy. And people here drive like idiots in the rain.
I have to pick the little kids up from daycare later. Should I take my 4x4 tank of a Suburban in which they are forward facing or my tiny little Civic that they're rear facing in?
I know that in the same vehicle, rear facing is safer. I'm wondering if, in this case, the mass of the vehicle would be better than rear facing in the event of an accident. Especially since there are probably more trucks and SUVs than cars in this town.
