Question Sweating like a piggy in her seat

Finally hit 80 in MN today and DD was sweaty in her new Cow seat ERF. We do have a van that has rear vents, but that fabric is hot and she is a sweater. Is it ok to put a small cotton blanket behind her head, so it helps to absorb the sweat? Seems like we have done that in the past.

Here she is sleeping and sweaty!
