How are you protecting vehicle seats RF?

The dirty feet/shoes and what have you are destroying the backs of my seats (face of the backs...RF kids). I'm just plain not finding anything to put on to protect the seats that doesn't go underneath the safetyseat which is apparently a no-no. I have a Suburban, bench seats. Tried putting a towel on it, but they have them knocked down/pulled off within a couple in/outs. Same thing with using a twin bed sheet across the entire back row...just too loose and works it way out. Its cloth seats if that matters.

We used [ame="http://www.amazon.com/SafeFit-Kick-Mats-2-Pack-Grey/dp/B000TVGQGC/ref=sr_1_4?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1304684768&sr=1-4"]these kick mats[/ame] on the back of the seat. They're thin and seemed to stay fastened okay. I think just about anything is going to get bunched up to some extent. The question is more what will annoy you the least, lol.

I have cloth seats as well and just take dirty shoes off when they get to the car and put them back on when they get out.

Same here. I remember a long time ago someone using large men's tshirts, but it only really works on captains chairs

Do you have removable head rests? If so, you can poke small holes in the towel/sheet and use the headrests to spear the fabric in place.

We have this: http://ecom.tinylove.com/toy.aspx?toyId=208 It covers the seat back though I only bought it to entertain DS as our old car had leather seats and our new one has black cloth. I'm sure its not an "approved" item but the mat is soft and flexible and the wheel is lightweight so I'm ok using it. I figure in an accident it would do less damage than a full sippy cup.

ETA: I don't have ours attached to the seat in any way like its shown in the pics on their site.

I have a hand towel (that matches my interior) that I cut holes in. The headrest holds it in place, and the other end is tucked down into the space between the car seat and vehicle seat. DS doesn't/can't pull it out. It has worked out great! I can take it out and wash it when it gets gross looking.

There are 2 different versions for RF and FF. They fit most back-seats also with a little work.

We use the same ones. They work great and are inexpensive.

I also have these, but they only work well on the 40 side of my 60/40 split bench. I also have a hand towel that matches my car and I safety pinned it behind the seat. I like the idea of little holes and using the headrest better, though.
