New Car, New Seats for 6 kids ages 1-6--need major help!

We need at least an 8 passenger vehicle. I'd somewhat prefer to fit 6 carseats, but the 6yo can possibly sit in a booster. I have 2 radians, 1 tf, 1 fpsvd.
Right now, the 2 and 4 yo are rf and the rest might not be used to sitting in car seats (which I why I prefer a seat for the 6yo, and possibly putting them ff although they all could be rf, so I could be more aware if they were out of their straps).

What would you get and where would you put everyone (and how would you get them in there?:) I don't even know where to start! The 1yo definitely needs to be rf, lol

Would you put them all ff? Or just the 2 that have been? Or all rf except the 6yo? What car? What seats?

Thanks a ton!

Ages? Available seats other than what you have, or no? Budget for vehicle? Budget for seats?

Sorry I put the ages in the title and should have in the text: 1,2,3,4,5, and 6 year olds. We're thinking under 13k for the vehicle off craigslist and seats we can do whatever we need to:D

Ok, well, sizes are going to matter, but in a tight 3 across harnesses are usually easier and if the 6 year old is not ready to sit properly, you'll need one anyway. The 1 through 3 yeast olds, I'd rear-face (assuming you can.) At 4, 5, and 6 I'd not unless they want to.

For that price you CAN get an Ody or Sienna if you want to (we were just van shopping.) The Sienna is probably the best for 6 car seats in the age range you'll be looking at. If you want more room you'll have to go passenger van. That's not my personal favorite option for safety, but if you need it there are ways to make it work and you may have enough money left to customize.

What seats you get is going to depend a lot on the vehicle you end up with.

2005-2007 8 passenger sienna. You can fit any 3 across the second row. In the third row you can do 2 radians and almost any other seat passenger's side. You could fit all your current seats and only need to buy two more.

:yeahthat: I don't know about prices, but I think 2004-2010 Sienna are the same body/ seats.

2 Radian in the 3rd row, along with another seat of your choice (Nautilus?). True Fit and FPSVD 2nd row rear facing, and another convertible of your choice.

If we went with a Sienna, how would the kids in the back get back there? Also, I'll probably need to buckle all except the 2yo (almost--can do it, but I check her still) and 4 year old, so would I be able to get back there?

Pretty much, the kids are all between 33 and 38 lbs except the 6yo (45ish) and 1yo (20lbs).

I'm mostly concerned with what vehicle to get and being able to fit all the carseats and get the people in too:)

The middle row is captain's chairs that can slide forward and back. If a rfing seat is installed, you can make the seat back go forward a bit. Install the side seat(s) with latch and the seatbelt won't cross over the pathway. I have 4 car seats and two high back boosters in my sienna and we don't have a problem getting into the third row. Even I can get into the third row.
