What time does the 10% markdown happen each day?

I see another thread where the Misty Morning TF was $97 yesterday at 11pm, and it still is today- does it happen late in the day?

The site says it's supposed to happen at 8:30am CDT, but I was watching it this morning and it seems they aren't real precise about it. First the seat moved over a slot, then it was marked down about 15 minutes late, but now it's already sold out. Maybe there's some trick and you can get it at the lower price in that time between 8:30 and the actual time the site changes.

I really wanted that seat, I bought one on Gaga Deals last week and they canceled my order because they sold more seats than they had.:thumbsdown:

This question actually just came up on their Facebook page too. They said that their staff changes the prices manually, which is why there's a lag between when items come off and when items go on. It's also probably why the time is always a little bit different - you have a human trying to get it done by 9 a.m. instead of a computer who automatically does it.

And I'm assuming that as they are changing the prices, they are updating the inventory numbers, which is why things "sell out" so quickly between 8:30 and 9.
