Another SL thread

An idea was suggested to me, and I wondered what more knowledgable minds would think.

Do you think if the SuperLATCH was not ATTACHED to the seat that it would install differently?

I don't have an SL, but on my Radian the attachment strap is long enough that it doesn't alter the routing of the LATCH belt at all. So no, I don't think it would matter.

Also, several people have reported that SKJP had them send back their SL LATCH strap (therefore they must have removed it from the seat, presumably by cutting the retaining strap) and they still had problems with the new SL belt that SKJP sent back.

Since my two replacement belts performed no differently, and they were not attached to the seat, my answer would be no. There was no difference when they were installed on the left vs. the right side either.

nope. My first latch strap had a broken connector, so I took it off the seat. The replacement strap isn't attached and it had loosening issues on the rare occasion I used latch.

I didnt think so, but I thought maybe I missed something. this was a "solution" presented by a certain CSR Manager at SKJP. Because the attachment strap was interferring.

Yeah....good call customer service manager. That's definitely the issue. That and the replacement that the "intern in the warehouse" accidentally picked and sent me from "the box of defective straps."

A) what company gets interns and assigns them to packing boxes in the warehouse? Maybe they should have an intern manning their Facebook page instead?

B) you have a box of defective straps sitting around your warehouse?
