Convertible car seat for Acura TL

My 4 month old is 17.5 pounds (90th percentile) and 26.5 inches (95th percentile). He is currently in a Chicco KeyFit infant seat that goes up to 22 pounds. We have started looking at convertible car seats to move him into in the next month or two. We have an Acura TL and currently the passenger seat has to be pushed up as far as it will go to fit his infant seat so we don't use that car when we go out as a family. We also have an 8 year old in a booster seat in the back. I have a Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite 3 in 1 car seat that is still in the box and never been opened. But after reading all the threads about that car seat I think I am going to return it for something else. I must admit that I'm overwhelmed with all the information so any help is greatly appreciated!

My co worker has a TL that I was able to play in a little. I was able to get a classic Marathon, MyRide, and Complete Air installed rear facing. She's 5'5" and had enough room to get the car. The Marathon is nice because you can brace it against the seat as long as your car manual allows this. The Complete is nice because it has a more upright recline so it doesn't take up as much room. The MyRide was the hardest as it is wide and takes up quite a bit of space rear facing. So, long story short I would go with a newer Marathon or a newer Britax seat or the Complete Air.

We have a 2005 TL. I love our classic boulevard RF behind the passenger seat. I also can do the true fit in that position. I can get both upright enough for our toddler and provide enough space to comfortably sit in the front seat at 5'8".
