carseats in basement flood

We had a minor flood in our basement, 1-2 inches deep. My Avenue was sitting on the floor. I think it was in RF mode, and I know the harness adjuster strap was on the floor. The water was all cleaned up the same day. Replace the seat?

I would at the very least consider replacing the harness adjuster strap, if it can be, but I'd probably be safe and get rid of the seat

With the Avenue, I recall the harness being so expensive to replace it's really not worth it. But yeah, I'd replace.

How long was it in the water?

Sent from my iPod touch using Car-Seat.Org

We noticed the flood around 8am Thurs. By then it had made it 2/3 of the way across the basement, and the carseat was closer to the flood starting side. All the water was cleaned up by 5pm Thurs. We picked up the carseat this morning (Saturday) and a little water dripped out from the RF foot.
