The 4 year old I babysit for sits in a Classic Marathon 65. He is around 37 pounds but his shoulders don't fit in the seat. He has to be angled a little bit to be comfortable. He still has an inch to go and he's in the last slot. Is this a common problem?
His parents asked me what the next step is so I suggested a Britax Frontier 85 and a Graco Nautilus. I explained the maturity thing for boosters because he just turned four a few weeks ago. I'm hoping they take my advice. They need two of whatever they get, so the mom was worried about money, but is aid that when 2 year old needs that type of seat, 4 year old will be ready for a booster.
Anything else I should tell them?
