I'm curious what others would do? Do I let Elizabeth pick a seat...

What would you do?

or choose for her. Now that I don't have Katie to watch I have an extra seat. ;)

She will be 5 in July, is 46 lbs, and I don't recall how tall she is.

The choices are a radian in the center or nautilus outboard. I don't like how tall the nautilus is in the middle, it blocks my view.

I'd prefer her in the radian center but I bet she would choose the nautilus.

I have a 2004 toyota sienna with side curtain air bags.

I would let her choose. My DD just turned 5 and she is always happier if I let her choose where she sits (in her Radian or DD2's Nautilus)

Does Benjamin sit in the 3rd row?

Yes, Benjamin is in the third row passenger side because it has latch. Now that i think about it more I could move him to the middle row behind me and keep Elizabeth in the center.

I moved Benjamin to the back row when Elizabeth started preschool because i had her in the center seat and needed the two ouboard seats empty so i could get her buckled on the driver's side but she could get out on the passenger side for school. I know it sounds totally lazy but I didn't want to walk all the way around the van to buckle her. In my defense I do seem to be always running late, so every second counts. She can now buckle herself and if she needs help I can help her from the driver's seat since she is now forward facing.

I'm going to keep her in the radian and put Benjamin behind me.

Thanks all!
