Recaro +/-

I was reading another thread and blanked on what the Recaro looked like.

I headed out to their website and saw:

http://www.recarochildseats.com/

1) :) They have their own fitting station - 5-9, M-F, no appointment necessary.

2) :( Next to it however, they have a photo of Liam who is "perfectly fitted" into his Recaro seat, but the shoulder belt appears to be more on his upper arm than on his shoulder. Is it just me?

That's actually the way it's supposed to be on that seat.

What concerns me more is the FF in the second (RF only) slots with horribly twisted ropes for straps ComfortSport for a very small child sitting right beside the Recaro. Hm. That tech should be canned.

But Liam, to the best of my knowledge, is correct. Except they are using the lower anchors with the booster, which they shouldn't be. Tether, but not lower anchors. I don't think...

Um... why would you have one child in a $300+ carseat and the other in a POS???

Just curious... makes no sense to me. Why not get a Young Sport for the other kid instead of the Comfort Sport.

If you look at people's siggys- many people on this board have one child in a Britax and the other in a Scenera. Would that qualify as a POS also? I had a Comfortsport and loved everything about it except that my DD outgrew it at 2.5. I haven't seen the pictures you are discussing, and I don't mean to offend you, but your comment may offend others. JMO.
