Yep, that is my truck. This is why I won't put a brush guard or wench on the front. Don't need to cause more damage than I will already.

Doesn't look good.

It wasn't. Based on the area and massive intrusion I'm willing to bet there was a high rate if speed. The Dodge driver was ok.

I know the Dodge driver would be fine. I just don't want to do more damage to another person.

WOW... those big trucks are certainly made to be able to trek through anything... just wish that they didn't also trek right through other cars... but hey, I'd feel very safe behind the wheel of the Dodge Ram, I gotta tell ya.

Not feeling to excited about the SIP of the Nissan Murano, though

I'm guessing this would be one of those 'wouldn't matter if they are rf'ing or ff'ing' kind of wrecks if they were on the driver side. :(

Dh drives a semi daily. He has been in 2 crashes. Unpreventable. 1st one driver fell asleep at the wheel. (I will have to post photos soon.) He lived there it. Amazing.

Most recent, was a camero with a 17y driver. She stopped on a hwy. Not sure why. If he had not tried to stop quickly, it would have been much worse. She walked away but went to get checked out later.

Oh, man. That's awful. :( Prayers for all involved.

I wish DH didn't drive a small car. Our commuter is an '06 Corolla w/o SAB. Crash ratings are either pretty good or really sucky depending on whom you're asking. Thankfully, he does almost 100% highway driving, so minimal risk of a side-impact. I'm always worried about him, though.

The Murano is a small/midsized sux though, isn't it? At first glance I thought it was a Pontiac Vibe hatchback.

Smart cars are just too tiny for me. They just don't have enough space to absorb the crash forces, in my mind. And what about intrusive crashes? They is no extra space in them.

I drive an 06 Murano. That picture displeases me. Were there passengers in the back?

I do, however, feel better that I moved DD back to the center recently. I think that is where she will stay, even if the Radian eats front seat space for DH.
