I'd heard they were having a sale, so we stopped by. We didn't spend a lot of time because we were supposed to be trying out violas and not car seats. (No great deals, BTW.) I haven't been there for a couple years and was pleasantly surprised to see all the seats they now carry. I tried 9 yo out in the probooster. It's a nice seat! The seat depth is really shallow, but I don't normally pay much attention to it, so maybe that's what her usual booster is like. A couple years ago I sat this child in the recaro convertible that has no wings. (The como?) She couldn't get her shoulders in the seat, though they were well below the top slot. I had her sit in the proride. Although she is too tall for the seat, her shoulders fit. The store had a como (the one with no headwings), but it was way up high, so I didn't get it down to compare. Recently I tried my kids out in the combi zeus. I was disappointed to find that my ds2 had outgrown the seat. I thought the coccoro had higher top slots. I installed the coccoro ffing on the test seat in the store and had ds sit in it. His shoulders are above the top slots. They must be around the same height as the zeus', but the zeus shell is taller. Ds2 is 4 years old, weighs 32 pounds, has a 14ish inch torso, and is 38 inches tall.

Sorry I didn't take pictures. I'm too worried about being kicked out of the store to whip out a camera. Just thought I'd share.

LOL I brought my camera with me to BRU when the smartseat came out and also when I went to Segals for Children and took pics of Olivia in the seats and compared the true fit to the Radian side by side installed in the store. They also have Recaro seats but I wasn't interested in those lol. I don't buy from that store because they are super expensive but I go to try the seats they don't sell at normal stores.
