Belt fit check

My 9 yo sat in a different seat than usual just to see. The lap belt actually hits below the hip bones. I was shocked! I'm not looking to ditch the boosters any time soon, but I'd still like to know what you think of the belt fit in my girls. It would be nice to know that someday they might be safe without boosters. Their feet lay flat on the floor.

Lap belt looks a tad high to me too and hay shoulder belt couldn't be comfy across their necks like that.

The lap belt is a little too high still and the shoulder belt should be flat across her collarbone not so close to her neck. She is getting closer though!

Great! A tad is better than before! Actually, just a few weeks ago dd1 (the one in pjs) buckled up in the civic and boy was the lap-belt high! I looked at that and thought dd would never fit in a seat belt properly. Well, maybe never in a civic, but perhaps next year she'll fit the middle-most belt in the sienna.

The first pics are your 9yo and the last two are your 11yo, right? I think the fit in the last two is acceptable but not great, and the first few are not acceptable.

I agree with Jenny. Also, are they even sitting with their bottoms all the way back? It doesn't look like it to me.
