Need another carseat due to crash. Radian xtsl still the best choice out there? My dd is 4 yo 36lbs Still has plenty of growing room in the radian. I like that it sits low in the seat and the side impact by her head and that we can rear face. That being said is the radian still the best choice out there not considering the rf or ff factor.
Thanks for your input!

If you're going to RF, the Radian is probably the best choice.

If you're not going to RF, a combination seat is a more practical and cost-effective choice.

hee hee That does not help me one bit ;)

Anyone know the difference in how the radian and the frontier fits in a Honda Odyssey?
I am looking for favs in carseats.

Better question... Which carseat have the steel reinforced rods? Is it just Britax and Radians? Honestly, after our wreck I am seriously thinking of rf my little darling.

At that size I think she'll fit in the radian until a safe booster age so I'd get a radian and enjoy the rf (and the awesome covers!)

I was under the impression that all car seats ment to FF have a steel reinforcement bar. Is that not the case? I know not all covertable harness slots may be inforced but in our course we were told the top slot is always reinforced.
Correct me if Im wrong :)

I am hestitate about the nauti because of everyone's head slump issue. My dd sleeps in the car all the time. Sounds like the radian is what I need to stick with for now. I am somewhat curious of how the frontier will work in the van. Sure wish the radian had a bit more side to it in the body area and not just the head. We seriously need another seat for my dh's truck. My carseat $ for his truck got spent on emergencies :/

My DD had terrible headslump in both the nauti and XTSL(FF). The FR is awesome for sleepers. If you're going to RF her a little while longer, I'd suggest the XTSL but if you're planning to FF, I'd definitely go with the FR.
