What seat is this? It looks like it failed in both tests??

Hmmm...looks like they call it a 'bad seat', hehehe. It's European, if that makes you feel any better. Love the Concord Transformer next to it, coolest.booster.ever.

I am not sure what seat that is but it looks as though it is meant to rotate on the base like that in a wreck. weird.

It's definitely not designed to do that. In the first video, I can see the belt path rip out on one side, leading to the rotation. In the second video, the belt path rips out on both sides and the seat ends up on the floor.

It's possible that we are looking at internal testing of a prototype seat that never made it to market for obvious reasons.

I love seeing how the concord performs (the cybex still scares me some), but wow... I haven't seen the videos with the "bad seat" in awhile... still gets me... I forget what seat it is.

I think it is a Renolux 360. I've seen it in other crash tests before and Google turns up a bunch of links about how badly it tests. Scary.

The Cybex in that video still scares me. All I imagine is DD's head hitting the door face first like it seems the dummy did there.
