Dumb question...what is puzzling?

I don't want to pretend I know what you are talking about. lol Im assuming its fitting 3 seats together in a row but thought I'd just ask

Puzzling is just our fancy smancy way of saying a couple of seats play nice together. For instance, if you put a Radian and a classic Britax next to each other going the same direction, the Radian sits low enough down that the wide part of the britax overlaps it and the two seats actually take up less room that the sum of their widths.

Yep, that's exactly what it means. Sometimes we get so caught up in looking for narrow seats that we forget that larger seats sometimes work quite well together depending on how they're shaped. I fit two old-style parkways and a marathon in the back seat of a two-door '96 Jeep Cherokee because the MA sat up so high that the boosters kind of slid under the sides.

you were right... the car is the puzzle area... the seats the pieces... some cars require measuring, trial and error, and all kinds of guesswork to get three seats in a row... others don't.

Dumb question...what is puzzling?
