Is it safe FF 3yr old

We have 3 additions in the family. 1 DC was born in Nov of 2010 , 2 DC born yesterday and one more on the way some time this year. I am going to see all of them in May and wanting to get all the facts straight. I know rf as long as possible but if they make it to 3 is it safe for a 3 yr old to ff.
Would the following seats rf till at least 3 and ff to at least 5? Any others that can be found at walmart or target in the 150 price rang?

Yes. In fact, for the car-seat-hesitant, I stress 2 rather than 3. I usually say, "at least 2" or "2 or even longer if you want." Three scares people off. Two is more palatable.

Those seats are fine.

The My Ride is also available in that price range, although some don't like it for FF use. I can get it decently upright in my car.

The ones you've chosen are great. The truefit will take most kids until about 3, rear facing, but only has a 35 lbs RF weight limit.

The evenflo seat would have a 40 lb rear-facing weight limit - if you get the Evenflo Triumph 65. There are some older seats known as the Evenflo Triumph Advance that have a 35 lbs limit for rear-facing.

I personally love the True Fit, even though its RF weight limit is slightly lower than the competition right now. Very sturdy seat that has nice tall slots, low sides (making it easy to load kids into it).

I was going to say the new recommendations are to at least 2 but these seats are affordable and can rf till 3 or more and ff till 5ish. (with the weight limits of course ) etc
