I've had to wait TWO days to tell you all, and that totally sucked.

1st car: a Regent (in blue bouquet) and an MA (Arcadia Grass, or whatever it's called.) 2 adorable little girls, 4.5 & 19 months. The seats were soooo tight, but I could have filled a big black trashbag w/ all of the aftermarket products. LOL. She didn't have the hugs on the MA, so I turned it RFing for the little one. She was 29 lbs. Mom called me yesterday to have me check that it was okay FF w/ the HUGS. :(

2nd car: an MA in the middle for a supposably 35 lb 15 month old. It was installed w/ LATCH and seatbelt, and was still loose. I snugged it up, tethered it right, and asked Dad to check her weight... if she was smaller, she really should RF.

3rd car: a barely 12 month old, 22 lbs FF in a EB 3n1 (in the middle of a BMW w/ LATCH & seatbelt, no top tether). She was only 29 inches. I told Mom she couldn't FF in that seat. My senior checker offered her a Tribute for FF, which she refused, because it was ugly. (LOL) So the baby went in RFing, even though Mom didn't want her that way.

There were more, but my little one is fussing, so I gotta go. :D

Congrats on your first buckle up! Sad about the mom calling back about the hugs and FF. Sounds like you got to practice a lot of observation skills for misuse.

You must be in a nice area to have two cars come through with britax in them. When I has my seats checked last year they told me that it was the first time they had ever even seen britax seats.

Congrats on your first check. I am sorry to hear that the parents had good seats, but wouldn't use them to their full benefits. And a 35lb, 15 month old? Wow, did she look that big? My 15 month old is only 23lbs and my nephew (who is a chunker) is almost 2 and is only 30lbs. Oh well, maybe dad will re-check the weight.
