So today at the moms group I go to, 2 friend's had new babies and they BOTH had way too many infant padding things in their seats, is there a good video to show not to do this, or an info link?
The other one really frustrated me, a not close friend was in a REALLY bad side impact crash a couple months ago and she had me give her some advice about car seats, mostly thru another friend that is knowledgeable. Anyway this girl has a 15 month old and he escaped their crash in a RF infant seat with no injuries, where the girl and her husband were both injured. Anyway, this girl was all gung ho about keeping her DS RF to 3, she totally attributed his safety to RF and she replaced his car seat with that super expensive new Britax against my advice as her son is big and I told her she wanted a bigger more roomy seat, but she believes in that Britax bubble.
Anyway today she told me his legs are totally smashed and her and her husband want to turn him FF, I reminded her of the new recommendations, the statistics on legs RF. Blah, blah. Anyway is there a good video that states kids legs are ok RF and squished in their seats?? I even told her I could help her pick a different seat that was more roomy. They have another one on the way she could pass the Britax down to.
Thanks!
